I've had one chick hatch so far and is this one noisy chick! Even before he popped his cap he started peeping. He is still wet and still peeping louder than ever. Sheesh! Can't wait for this tropical storm to blow on past so I can take this noisy chickie out to the broody!![]()
YAY and boooooooooooooooI have been busy the past several days, and have not had time to read threads.
Broody #1 hatched her first baby Tuesday morning. A black body with a RIR head. Number 2 looks like a red sexlink, and #3 came out last evening. It is yellow. She should have one more chick. Unfortunately, a hen has learned that she can fly, and is flying over the rafters, and into the broody room. I have 3 extra eggs in the nest now. Poor chicks.
I opened all of the incubator eggs. All scrambled. TY post office!
