Yes, that's what I meant, sorry. I'm trying to find more details on the symptoms... uh oh: "Dehydration may accompany cecal coccidiosis."

Doug, have you got any corid?

ETA: sorry I was replying to your earlier post about their heads drawn back.
I don't have anything and nothing is open until 10. I wont be able to get anything until after church. What should I try to find. Orchelin is the only thing open today. No feed stores are open.

Doug, we're tripping over each other now LOL Have you got any Corid? That is the best and quickest treatment for coccidiosis. Separate the sick ones asap and as the others show symptoms separate them as well and get them on meds quick. Medicated starter helps prevent it, but apparently it's not a guarantee, they can still get it.

Quote: No only normal brown. Very little that's runny. I think its just normal runny poo from chicks.
Quote:
Affects growing or semi mature birds, droopiness, huddling with ruffled feathers, loss in interest in water and feed, retarded growth or weight loss, watery, moucousy, or pasty, tan or blood tinged diarrrhea, sometimes emaciation and dehydration
I would rather over medicate for everything under the sun than lose any more chicks. I have my turkeys with these too. I would hate to lose them.

Ill look today. Anything else I should try to get?

Sulmet, but it's not as effective and it's very hard on them. Look at the milk flush thread I linked above. Milk helps sooth their intestines as does plain yoghurt. I hope that helps!
