Great idea tyI read a few posts up somewhere or a few pages back that using feminine pads is an excellent way to boost humidity. Soak them and stick them in. Try to shoot for 65%.

They will be fine.Need advice!!! I have to make a trip starting tonight and will be back tomorrow evening. Since my chicks just hatched today, can I leave them in the incubator until I get back? Since they have the yolk to live off of do u need to leave water in there too? What should I do? Trip cannot be postponed.

Lol. They've already done the deed at least once each. I normally get them out but this time it can't be helped so I'll just expect extra cleaning this time. Thanks everyone for the support!!!They will be fine but they are going to start pooping. So if you don't want to have to clean a super messy bator the just move them or keep them in till you get back. They have a good 3 days of yolk time.
45% angle if your using a book or turner its still 45% goalquick question..not sure if you remember my problem with having too many eggs (really IS there such a thing? Ha!) anyway..now I'm worried will having them all in egg cartons and just using a book from side to side be sufficient turning?
