I am waiting on my Blue Andalusian's to hatch! One piped a hole in it's shell last night. But nothing else this morning. Is that a bad thing?

im going to fly to oregon to viset my daughter and was thinking of getting some hatching eggs while there to bring back home im flying south west air where can i find the info on what i need to do to get through airport checks with my eggs

I am waiting on my Blue Andalusian's to hatch! One piped a hole in it's shell last night. But nothing else this morning. Is that a bad thing?

Same thing happened with mine last week. One took about 19 hours from internal to external pip and 2 others took about the same time from external pip to zipping. They were all fine and hatched by themselves. Just make sure the little one can breathe and stays damp in there.

Thanks Sumi! He broke all the way thru the shell. So waiting on him to zip out!

I Just had a chick hatch that still has it's navel cord attached to a little egg shell. Do I leave it alone or cut it off?

I always pinch that crud off with my dull nails and then spray navel with veterycin umbilical spray
