So I got up early this morning to run errands. I stepped outside and got a blast of wind and bitter temps in my face. I made it to the (toasty) warm 60 degrees coop. I checked on everybody, and made sure all was well.
My area is supposed to get rainYep. Location is everything. I don't envy the bitter cold, but it would be nice to have weather that felt like Christmas time. -supposed to be 74 Christmas day. I'd rather have highs in the 30s.
Come on up, we can do that all in one dayI would love too it's a bucket list to be able to see some snow, one horse open sligh, ice fishing et![]()

I have also been more diligent about mice getting in the feed. I now put lids on all the coffee cans. I hate mice. I have flashbacks of the mouse on fire, running up the Christmas tree in Lampoons Christmas.So I got up early this morning to run errands. However, I was concerned about the space heaters. I didn't want to leave them running, which was a dilemma. Then it hit me. There are temperature settings that kick the heaters on and off (completely forgot about them).
I have to admit I sometimes I enjoy modern conveniences.
