What's the temperature where you are???

So I got up early this morning to run errands. I stepped outside and got a blast of wind and bitter temps in my face. I made it to the (toasty) warm 60 degrees coop. I checked on everybody, and made sure all was well.

However, I was concerned about the space heaters. I didn't want to leave them running, which was a dilemma. Then it hit me. There are temperature settings that kick the heaters on and off (completely forgot about them).

I have to admit I sometimes I enjoy modern conveniences.

I have also been more diligent about mice getting in the feed. I now put lids on all the coffee cans. I hate mice. I have flashbacks of the mouse on fire, running up the Christmas tree in Lampoons Christmas.
