I would work on stabilizing temps and separate for hatch what is going on that you cannot stabilize, try adding clean rocks all around in the one you want to hatch in and see if it helps keep a more stable temp

anotherwords, add mass be it stones or water bottles, it should help you

It's full of rocks. The temps are just either WAY to high or to low

O.K. today is Sun., day 23 and no action since 2 hatched Fri. Sally, tonight I will candle and see if I can tell anything. What am I looking for exactly and what should I do? If they are alive will I see movement? If I do just leave them or what?

I have an image in the assist article of a inner membrane pip...

I never did a video of (draw down)

what it looks like is a major dip in the front of the air cell where the chick pips internally and then later externally, and the upper back of the air cell actually you will sometimes see that the chick starts to protrude into the air cell (although still covered with the inner membrane, it is either the pip area or the back area you see movement, sometimes when the yolk is absorbed you can see a clear spott on the lower small end of the egg.

sorry I cant write it and I dont have eggs WAIT I will go see, although its only day 18 perhaps I can get a video if any are close!!

MEANWHILE that assist article has the steps! its in my siggy

O.K. thanks, I'll look for movement. If there is just put it back? The 4 Jap eggs that I added to the 10 shipped were fresh, and they didn't do anything.

Sally, how can I tell the difference between one that has died recently and a live one still in the shell when I candle tonight?
Movement, sometimes I can DEATH tell by a 1/8th or more line just below the air cell all around the egg, and that area looks like veins died and such, I really have to take images of some more stuff!! I am sorry!! I promise to start taking then and videos when I run into the common stuff :(

I forgot we are out of electric so I cant do anything right now! there is no light down there! ha ha ha

Yep. Also look for big veins. Like the ones you can see in the pics I listed a bit ago. Sometimes shipped eggs just don't do anything. My first group of 14 did nothing at all. Tho they were scrambled.
