@Sally Sunshine how are you liking that light you got on ebay?? I think I'm going to want one that's brighter than what I'm using. I could see into some of the marans eggs, and some of the Ameraucana eggs - but not as well as I had hoped

I LOVE LOVE IT! and I can swap the batteries at anytime too!

Harmonys silky has a tad bigger hole but still resting! I see some pips in the CCL! none in the brahma yet! I am keeping an eye on her silky as I had it out to take that video, I dont think its stuck but it could be, I hear her chirping pretty good now so she should be out by lunch, if not I have to check on her. I guess I should waited to use one of my eggs to show you that video

but I didnt have any other internals.

My eggs are coming my eggs are coming!!

Guess who is getting some possible show quaility silkie duck eggies, not that I will show them but still, I love BYC friends!!
And HRIR I am so excited about getting more of my pretty reds back in the layer pen! I miss the color and sweetness of a RIR! ohand possibly a few turkey eggs to hatch for a friend!!!

Ugh, what a trying 24 hours. I canceled my duck/goose order that was supposed to be coming in May. This morning I had to euthanize my favorite rooster (favorite chicken) due to complications from surgery.
I never realized how much I love these chooks.
He was my only Australorp mix and had the softest feathers of any of my chickens (not including the silkies, they are still just fuzz balls.)
I wish I had gotten more pictures of him, but the camera just couldn't capture the beautiful red and silver in his hackles or the blue/green sheen of his body.
I already miss you, Cheeky.
