anQuote: Humidity is up to 75 now, not a single external pip so if I am guessing correctly Harmony is going to VERY hard to deal with : (
I should have known to keep humidity higher down there this time of year and that cold we had the stove CRANKING! It ran 25-35 percent and didnt have that 40-45 flux at times... ugggg I wont give up hope yet though as its only day 19, I just pray that humidity can get at them.
Thanks for well wishes, I just cant beat this cold yet.
Good luck and bigIf I wasn't so far away I'd have come over to help you.![]()
I will my next hatch. Next week probably set on Thursday or Fridaybefore I forget, did anyone shake an egg and dislodge and air cell????![]()
Woohoo got an egg turner with my chick money! I feel so advanced.![]()
Momma hen is so sweet!
oh geez... they hatched early both the other times too, but never had internal pips before day 18. They are smaller eggs than the other two batches though.... thanks will check outSally, you are the second person I've spoken to now who had Serama eggs hatching early. I looked to see if I can find any info on this and found some say they do hatch earlier (day 19), should not be candled or candled only once to check viability, are susceptible to air sac damage when shipped...Are bleeding difficult to hatch basically. Anyway, there's some interesting info in this thread:

I found a Serama forum with a section on incubation and hatching them, but guess what? You need to be a member if you want to see and read the threadsHow ridiculous is that?![]()
