20 months. He also hit another first at the dentist. We were chatting with the dental tech and DS sneezed. The tech handed him a Kleenex and he said 'thank you' clear as a bell. He normally still just babbles so we were surprised. But then, I tell him thank you every time he hands me a toy or shoe or whatever, so I guess he had to pick it up eventually!

I LIED !! Sally SUNSHINE messed up ~ 5 YELLOW Serama and 2 BLACK Serama CHICKS ~
HOWEVER one of the yellows, unbeknownst to me "at this point" IS A FRIZZLED BANTAM I think???? It was the only one in a tan shell

7 Babies total, 4 yellow 3 black! we lost 1 upsidedown and 2 died in shell before I realised the shell was extremely thick and they couldnt externally pip.
So I assisted all 7 had a long day yesterday and last night, But what a routy bunch of chicks this morning!! YAY this is the best shot for now, till the go brooder happy!
GO HARMONY GO!!! YAYAYYA she didnt even get to SEE THEM YET! lol

hey, sally, just for future reference, it says in your notes, quote:

"Either way, leave them in the egg carton for all 21 days of the hatch. Stop turning early at Day 16 not 18. "

but you said you don't stop turning until day 18? ah well, i stopped at day 16.

anyways, i've got 31 eggs in the bator. it is day 20. i've got 2 pips. i couldn't candle everything, some are too dark. 6 of the candle-friendly have busted air cells. neither of those are the pippers. i'm estimating 21 are fully developed. gosh i'll be happy if i just get more than one chick. although if i don't get 11 chicks i will never EVER ship eggs again. because for the money i spent on eggs i could have gotten that many chicks.
