awwww how sweet! Our school sold pink white and red carnations ahead of time and I always sent pinks to the girls that were THE NICEST and the QUIET gals and then I would send whites to the boys, same scenario..... always anonymous! he he he
I love seeing their faces, true appreciation! I spent 20 bucks on it a year, a buck a pc but well worth it!
Umm, do I need to take out the eggs to mist them/cool them off? Does the humidity need to be 80%? I can't do that. I can barely get it over 50. XD3D this site explains misting and cooling of eggs....
https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/incubating-and-hatching-muscovy-eggs HOWEVER, muscovy take longer incubation so dont listen to that part of the article!

Hmmm I don't think I will hatch the duck eggs. It is so foreign to me, and I did not know that I could feed them medicated feed, so who knows what other things I don't know.Maybe I'll give it a shot when I get older and am more comfortable with chickens and want to try something new, but for now, I am going to listen to my gut and not do it.![]()
Quote: Exactly why I purposely chose the nice and quiet kids to send them to! Try it, you will make them feel great and in the end you will also feel good!
you and me both !Baby number 2 out...3 more to go??
You can always try them this summer when your home and you can have them outside, that way you have plenty of time to prepare the bator for just duck eggs AND brooder!Hmmm I don't think I will hatch the duck eggs. If you can get chicken eggs - work with what you know. Your gut is smart. You have 100+ more years of hatching in you - plenty of time to try ducks
It's such a great idea!Exactly why I purposely chose the nice and quiet kids to send them to! Try it, you will make them feel great and in the end you will also feel good!
Well, my summers are very unpredictable. I sometimes leave the province for the whole summer. I couldn't trust my mom with anything more than feeding/watering hens. You can always try them this summer when your home and you can have them outside, that way you have plenty of time to prepare the bator for just duck eggs AND brooder!
