yup, I went down to check humidity and its down and he looks blue greyish now!!! and he is flopping all over that bator, he is gonna break them BCM eggs!! He is even getting cute!!!

There is something wrong with your fan. I have a new incubator that's the same exact one you have, and it NEVER sounds like that. No wonder you've commented on it a few times. If it's fairly new, perhaps the company would replace it or something. Ugh.

He is out with the bottom of the shell attached to his butt somehow... I will get him into the bator in the morning and take pics!! I am exhausted to say the least...

NOTES: I CAN DO THIS, even when handed a bad case senario!! And it was pretty AWESOME!!! Am I addicted to hatching, you freakin betcha!!! Bring um on!!

Always Purchase hatching eggs from a reputable source, check feedback, ALWAYS purchase as close to home as possible, Picking up local eggs the best for hatching. SHIPPED Eggs esp SILKIE and BANTAM eggs are easily damaged air cells enroute...check BYC sale trades, local BYC threads as well as CRAIGSLIST..... Got it! GOT IT!!

Now if only these hens would start shooting out some eggs and pay for their food, make me think... did I mention I won 50 egg cartons from the egg store from Chicken chick online photo contest? LMAO yea 50 cartons and these girls still didnt give a single egg!!!!

I know its been noisy since I got the stupid thing!!!! I will call them and see, I got it off Amazon it was cheapest place. but I got a dud fan!! I was praying it would last till he hatched, but now I have those BCMxcomets in there!!! I NEED TO CANDLE THEM TOMORROW!! HOW fun!!!! yayyayyaya

I just candled my turkey eggs that are on day 16, and all were duds. I did an eggtopsy and it looks like the yolks were all damaged. At least this time I know it's not my fault

! Some eggs from my little Bantam Easter Egger mixes are still going - only one dead...leaving me four still going! I REALLY want them to hatch because I think the dad is my BBR Phoenix, Brewster. What amazingly cute and/or odd babies they will be!







I''m trying to find a picture of the EE hen, but at least her back end is showing behind Brewster in the first picture. Here's some more pictures to pass the time while Halo gets to hatching.

Kids started coming early so I could only RUN down and snap a quick one and check on temp and stuff!!! Is he supposed to be matted yet, he is dry and he is well formed, just tiny tiny see him next to thoose other eggs!!! Are they supposed be this tiny, my other two werent!!!! wondering if Mypet chicken strikes again???????????

HOw awesome he is!!!! oh and sorry about those turkey eggs : ( are they difficult to hatch?? I want muscovy but not the white ones lol I like chocolate and mottled, just want a pair for in with the chickens : )
