Sally the two chicks that u could see the yolk sack on- I closed the hole up and one of the chicks piped trough the membrane! Please tell me this is a good sign. I pulled the shell back a little and placed or back in bator.

It is actually a calcium inhibitor and should be fed in very small amounts or not at all. Plenty other choices, ever carrot greens and dandelion greens.

Thats a good sign if its alive! can u see its beak moving or chirping? if so put him back and let him absorbe and rest! is that where you marked and guessed his pip would be??

It is moving around that's how I noticed the pip. I wasn't really sure where it would pip at. No chirping. But I could see its beak inside the whole.
