In luck just spotted her. Note the size difference and she's full grown! In year 1

ugg... I went down to the barn because I forgot to give the ducks more water and I found my beautiful dark brahma rooster Alexander as a bloody mess.  Him and the brahma cross rooster must have gotten into a fight.  His beautiful white feathers are stained with red and his face is bloody, hot, and swollen. His beak is cracked in multiple places and he can't eat.  He couldn't even eat his favorite treat, cheese.  I used at least a third of a tube of antibiotic ointment on his face and wattles.  Oh what to do...  he looks so pitiful...

So sorry to hear that hope hes alright, yesterday i went to check on mine and found the same minus the beak issue, he had been attacked by the turkey, i tried everything to stop the bleeding from his comb but nothing worked finaly hours later as i was covered in blood and had no other options i cauterised it hated doing it to him but hes much better now, turkey may end up in the oven if hes not careful hope yours pulls through.

How bad is his beak? When I joined this forum I found a thread where someone glued a chicken's beak back together, but I'll have to go look for it. In the meantime here's something:

He probably won't eat because he's in pain. Dissolve half a baby aspirin in water and try and get that into him. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice Sumi! I'll have to do some research on it. I feel so bad for my poor boy and I'm worried about infection.

As far as how bad it is, I noticed multiple cracks running along both the top and bottom portion of his beak and the end of the bottom portion looks like it was ripped off. His mouth was extremely bloody.

I'm sorry, I hope your pulls through as well. I had classes from 3 pm to 9 pm last night, so I asked my little brother to go out and give them water around 5. When I got home, the chickens were already sleeping, but I noticed Alexander's face and I was instantly horrified. I can't imagine having to cauterize... Both of them were strained with blood, but for the most part they already had scabs.

Sorry it took me so long to post pics. Looking for help sexing these 2 1/2 week old chicks. I believe they are all going to be EEs of some sort with Wheaten Ameraucana roo over Black Maran and Wheaten pullets for moms and dad.

I'm sorry, I hope your pulls through as well.  I had classes from 3 pm to 9 pm last night, so I asked my little brother to go out and give them water around 5.  When I got home, the chickens were already sleeping, but I noticed Alexander's face and I was instantly horrified.  I can't imagine having to cauterize...  Both of them were strained with blood, but for the most part they already had scabs.

I know i was so scared to do it but after trying everything else he just wouldn't stop bleeding (apparently chickens don't clot as well as we do)and was starting to get weak, after almost 24 hours of attempts i had to bite the bullet and the results were amazing, he is doing great now thanks for asking.
