My chickens outside have a yellow/amber mix but on of the chicks I hatched 3 weeks ago had ice blue eyes so I thought that was pretty cool (:

Harmony has two blackish Tiny Serama resting in the bator drying off yet, and the last one nothing yet : ( Not sure when to try to save it.... no internal pip but moving and ... I opened the bator (smack my hands, but Daddy tried to adjust temps in the hatcher bator and those styros are nothing like the wafer in the one he build.... anyway it was I02.9 so I had to let some heat out cause those peepers where a panting : (

Suggestions anyone? I hope he pips internally at least!! I do want want to have to go fishing for his head : ( but dont want to loose him either! They are now on day 20 and these guys started hatching on the begininng of day 19.... other egg is same size as these guys eggs.

BHep ~ Here are two of your grand serama! there heads are smaller than marbles!! AMAZING!

They are adorable!!! If you guys carry on like this I'm going to go buy some chicks somewhere soon! LOL

Sally I think the safest thing to do would be keeping an eye on him and intervene when he shows signs of "slowing down" If you don't see movement in the egg when you candle, tap the egg and listen/look for a response. I had a similar situation once and it turned out the little one had her stuck somewhere between her legs and couldn't get to the shell to pip! By the time I had her head out so she can breathe I realised she wasn't quite ready to come out completely... The yolk sac wasn't fully absorbed yet. I had her wrapped in a damp cloth, half in and half out of the shell, trying to keep the cloth damp and her warm. It was a long night. But she made it! I didn't' give her much hope, but she did!
Good luck!!

Sally, those chicks are too cute. xD Good luck! :D BTW, my eggs are on day 15 today, and I shall be putting them on lockdown on Wednesday!!! Super excited!!!! I have 8 or 9 alive now! The last time I candled, I could see a foot wiggling!!!! They should hatch on Saturday, and I will definitely post pictures!!!
