LOL...well I called the post office they are going to find out, either way I have to make sure 3D would even want them..if not well maybe you would LOL Oh to think I started out with 2 chickens and talked hubby into 2 more=4 then we hatched some and now have 10 chickens and 4 ducks...he wants 2 more ducks and says I can keep 4 big hens but he doesn't want to go over 20birds...LOL oh ya we have 3 under a brooding hen.
Try bribing her with a yummy treat. Lettuce or tomato or grapes. something she will love but is juicey. If that does not work you might have to force some sugar water down her. If you have a chick you might try giving her one to see if it will motivate her off the nest. Not sure how long she has been on the eggs but if she is skinny she may not have been able to keep them warm enough. I am not very experienced with broodies so hopefully someone who knows what to do will chime in. This is just what I would try to get her back to healthy and happy.Does anyone have experience with a brooding hen? I have a hen that has been on these eggs for awhile now...I never wrote down the date though but I feel its well over the expected date. I candled the eggs and they have odd air sacks but are moving. My concern is my hen though...I took her and the eggs inside my house...she is so skinny under those feathers..she is starving, although I have been feeding her but I don't think she has been getting enough and she refuses water...so I've tried to feed her foods n add water. She hasn't pooped either...so what do I do? I don't want to loose her
