So not the place to discuss this but in theory I can cull my sick chick but in reality I have no idea how to do it. Something quick. PM me if you have a method if you don't want to post it here. Thanks.

My plan for culling, if I need to, is my soda stream. I would have to rig it up a bit but I could fill a little container slowly with CO2 so the chick falls asleep and then just passes in it's sleep. I figure that's the most stress free / humane thing I can think of.

I've finally got my home made 'bator up and running! It seems to be holding a steady 99-100 temp and a 40% humidity. Now I screw everything in permanent like and buy eggs! Hopefully I can find the eggs I want in the quantities I need.

Good luck. I found someone selling some breeds I would like locally but it's straight hatchery stock with poor markings, at least on the birds she sent me pics of. Buff brahmas. I like her price ($1 per egg) but the breeding of her brahmas has me concerned that the RIR's are closer to production reds, especially since she hasn't sent one pic of her RIR, which she told me would be the majority of the eggs as her Brahmas aren't laying well yet.

...
Sally, you're a Brahma expert. What do you think? Would I get irritated customers if these are what their chicks grew to be?
