This is helpful to learnI don't like to see them too sticky to get out of their shells especially after they have done all of the work to zip!
I have been experimenting with not boosting humidity on shipped eggs till day 19 but last time I cut it fine. I ended up being not prepared and put a tupperware into the bator to boost the humidity. I had been using hovabators but this was the Farm Innovators style and it would not take my tall water container. While the hatched chicks were drying, one got over the top of the container and drowned.
Lesson learned.
