These mystery eggs showed up in the mail
making it mandatory that I join the cinco de mayo hatchalong
how cool are BYC people!!! I still cant believe how awesome
I got eggs in the mail and 4 turkey along with them!

I grew up on my great grandpas farm and he had barn cats, whenever they had kittens he would put them in a burlap sack tie it and throw them in the stream. When the next litter came we found out what he had been doing so my mom and I took the kittens to be fixed & adopted, trapped the barn mommys and got them fixed at the animal shelter brought them back for their mice patrol

i would have done what you did. i cant kill for the sake of it. even hatching - i get annoyed when people dont take the steps to do it right then cry. its great to help those who put in the effort but others are like your grand pop - drowning kittens

I give up. The whole reason I got this order of eggs was for the CLs. I candled once it got dark. The one I couldn't tell what was going on earlier? Day 6 quitter. The other, the cracked one still has no internal pip.
I'm going to give it two more days. But I'm not optimistic. I'm cursing a mental blue streak here. I'm soooo disappointed. I really really wanted some legbars. All that money for nothing. I know that shipped eggs are a gamble, but not even one out of four? Really??
Sorry for the rant. I'm still angry about losing a chicken today to a feral cat. I have no legal recourse to deal with the feral cat problem. I just have to let the stupid &%^$*( *(&*^*%s kill my livestock. I hate it here. I hate the corruption and laziness of the bureaucrats that run this town. I hate the incompetent postal workers that play hockey with packages marked fragile, leave things that are supposed to be signed for on the ground next to the mail box, and deliver things days late.
I JUST WANTED SOME STUPID LEGBAR CHICKENS. IS THAT TO FRIGGIN MUCH TO ASK??? I saved for MONTHS to get these eggs, and now I have essentially diddly squat to show for it.

Why is it when the dog pukes you want to kill it but if a kid pukes you cuddle them?????? tell me WHY?
