I've always given mine cold eggs. Wake them up from their tranceBroody question... she sat for two days now, can I add cold eggs to her or should I bator them until warm and give them?![]()
and if they are dark marans will she reject them?
I brought the eggs to room temp so they were warm to the touch them added them and they hatched fine, i have never been lucky enough to have marans though![]()

Basically she needs to wait and try and keep the ducklings in the eggs as long as they need. I wish I could remember exactly how long mine took, I think it pipped Saturday afternoon and finally hatched Tuesday morning or something. They seriously take forever, so it's better to wait and wait and wait some more.Remember to check in through the eve y'all in case Bella needs someone! I am worried about those ducks, I am sure they need more time and hope they don't keep getting out too soon : (
i was thinking exactly the same. after three hatches you will need a 12 step program to get off this crack
