Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

I just met a really cool gal who is an EGG artist! She is fairly new on BYC! Not sure what state she is in BUT.....

she is looking for INFERTILE EGGS for her projects! I am going to send her some quail and any infertile banty I have in a week
if anyone is willing to send her some I can hook you up, she is going to make me a art egg too!

Here are some eggs I would like if I could get them.

Any kind of pheasant.
Turkey w/ spots!!! love those
Valley Quail
Most small eggs like Bantam- any color
Chukar Partridge
Gamble Quail
Guinea Hen
Moran
Peahen.

I have enough ostrich, rhea, goose and duck right now.



OH MY GAWD look what she does! how cool are they!

Oh My....I have many small silkie and d'uccle eggs that i can't sell. Some may be fertile, but they are not going to be incubated. I would send them to her- SAS, send me the address and any pertinent info PM.

Sumi! I guess I missed some interesting stuff. I skipped like 100 posts and that was just from yesterday afternoonish. How is DH and the house hunt?

So I needed to candle last night after discovering my egglets cooking at 102 but the little guy hid my flashlight. So will candle again tonight and hopefully everyone is still alive. As far as aircells go when I did a quick look the other night with the cell phone I have some huge ones and some that are just tiny. Lockdown is Monday. Should be an interesting hatch.

I am getting so nervous. Today is day 16 of incubating cream legbars. They are shipped eggs - should I definetly go with the cut down carton for hatching? Any advice is appreciated.

I was here earlier trying to catch up on posts as well.Lots happened yesterday!! I could not get caught up....
I was going back to moving stuff, but DH got a call and has work......so much for moving

Have you been incubating them big end up in a carton? Are the air cells loose?

Anyone notice that air bubble in the middle of that inner membrane???? Mich did you pull any out of the shell to look at its size and navel? and if its beak was open?

I air bubble came up when i was seeing how think the moisture. sally if you can copy and paste that picture of the foamy egg, you can im on my phone and have the hardest time with it.
