Poorchickie made a couple of loud chirps and went to sleep. He wasn't right. In the sense that I think his body was partly twisted. Everytime I tried to lay him on his other side it would flip back over. So strange. There was two others the same breed and these were hatched normal. Well I tried. Poor thing. Rip little one.

12 pips!!! I have 17 that made lockdown and its just now day 20. My Henrietta's egg is pipped now as well. How exciting!!!

Yay.
I am on day 11 this afternoon of my next batch. Around 50 eggs!! Hardly even looked at them I've been so busy. Three more days and I will take a peak!! I miss the hatch already. Can't wait for the next one!!

I am looking into that now. I'm not really concerned with how much I get for them at this point, I just want to make sure they aren't going to crappy homes. I have them listed at $5.

I guess the price is up to were you live. Here chicks go for $3 straight run and $4chicks. Unless of course you have Heritage breeder birds.

Congrats!! I had one hatch before I went to bed (I did have to stay up past my normal bed time to see it) and 2 of my pipped hatched while I slept. One was just before I got up.... 2 more with tiny pips but I don't expect them to do much before later tonight since that seems to be when they come here.
