Oh my gosh...I'm no longer a "new egg". I'm now "just hatched"! Sometimes its the trivial things that matter most.

QUESTION: the chicks that seem to feather really fast? =
Pullets? I have two very distinct feathering going on. Lots of wing feathers on some and hardly any on others... I'll see if I can nab a pic.

. I hope this is the case because my ONE Henrietta baby is feathering really nice in the wings and I really want to keep her...it. um...its not a bit odd that my chickens have names right?
All my chickies have names! :D

I missed you guys!!!

This is an Orpington mixed with a polish rooster...

The two different feathering rates. I "think" they are Barred Rocks, but I really don't know.

Mr. No Wings..
Mr/s Wing.

And why not? They posed so beautifully.
Oh, I think that there is a way to sex Barred rock chicks due to the white got on their heads. The females will have a small, concentrated yellow/white dot, while the males' dots might be more uneven or less circular. Also the females tend to have darker legs. I think Mr. No Wings is a boy, also because he, well, has no wings. XD I also think the Orpington mix is a girl, but of course, these are just assumptions.

I think I will get a group picture of all my chickies together (if they will get along long enough for me to get one, that is...)
