ACV isn't a cure but more preventative. It changes the acidity of the gut and that helps fight against cocci. It is not guaranteed.

Almost 90 yesterday, 75 today and 45 tomorrow for the highs with a chance of snow. Jeez
:ya Picked up my Heritage Dellies from the USPS this morning. All 26 alive and running around like crazy. No paste butt or anything. The 2 week old GLW's don't know what to think of them. The bigger birds running for there life. :lau Tried to put the Wyandottes outside yesterday with the 2-3 month olds. But that didn't work very well. Maybe if I left them there longer they would have gotten better. But decide to take them back in.
Doug, I feel ya. What is with this weather? And snow this weekend? NO thank you! Um... Noob question, whats the green dot on their heads?

Me either. I drilled a bunch more holes in the top and bottom a few days ago for air circulation and its seems to be working better.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I just not breed GLW's to GLW"S to get GLW's

Yes you can! I emailed him about GLW when I was looking for a breeder. Before I got mine. That's what he told me to do.

Exactly. Medicated feed is not a cure either. It's a preventive measure. Also, people that get chicks from hatchery's that vaccinate for cocci should not use medicated feed. The medicated feed will destroy the vaccination.
