They are/were rolling air cells. This one is sloshing.
Can a saddle air cell (which I had NOT seen one day one) look like sloshing? That is the only other explanation. It really looked like sloshing though..

sloshing kinda looks like waves on a beach and foamy bubbles included. The air cell is probably ruptured. check this one for weeping everyday. Keep it upright. Does not look anything like a Saddle cell.

Broody #1 is doing awesome as a mom. I had to move some younger birds in to the coop with her and was worried about the chicks. That girl is mean as heck. I thought she was going to kill me the other day when I dared pick up one of her chicks. That did get her big butt up and moving. They have been exploring the coop and were in the run for a few minutes today. Their cuteness is inspiring...brooding #2 decided to hatch golf balls tonight.

I think one of my girls has a bumble foot. I soaked it in epsom salt for 10 mins then put some cream and wrapped it up. How long should I leave it wrapped up you think?

Glad everybody is doing OK. Been raining the last few days so been on the PS3, if I wasn't playing in the rain. LOL

I think you should take a pic of her foot and post in the Emergencies and Disease section and ask for opinions. Most bumble foot treatments involve minor surgery. There are loads of threats on it here as well:

Good luck with her!

Hi Everyone- Hope y'all are having a Terrific Saturday afternoon!
I accomplished something this afternoon (other than going through tons of stuff)
and I wanted to share it with y'all and see what ya think:
It's my first step in getting the ducks their new home-

LL

I wanted to do the pond first, I can build the pen around it!!
Took me all morning to dig that hole- Me and the DD did it, leveled it all out- backfilled, watered it in and graded around it!
those dang ducks better like it or they will make a nice dinner for someone!!
This was my Mom's koi pond. I think she would approve of the use of it for my duckies

That poor thing has been empty since we moved her here right before she passed in 2009.
I really didn't think I would find a use for it, but then we got ducks, so.........now i just have to figure out a filtering system- any suggestions? The pond is maybe 100 gallons at most.
Awesome! So glad your getting back up to par M'Lady!
