I feel your pain!

so you people are the only ones that I can say what I am up to and you understand...

Tonight is a butt fluff spruce up for several birds that have black berry skids and then a dusting for everyone. I know. It is so exciting.

LMAO!!! I had to read that twice! ha ha ha

We have a ton of flys this year, does anyone use Fly Predators / Eliminators ? I wonder if they would work here? I know they are used in barns and stuff but I wonder if I could just throw them in the dog yard!

Where's the little green vomiting emoticon!? I read recently that adding DE to the feed will prevent eggs from hatching in the poo. I don't know if this is true but I'm trying it.

I have thought about doing fly predators but it says that chickens love them and I would need them in the coops and runs. Kind of pointless if my chickens are just going to eat them.

Interesting about the DE.

:lau just because i married a yankee and moved up here with him, doesn't mean i was born and raised here, was born and raised in fort walton beach florida , we have white sand and beautiful aqua water too you know

Sharron, I live in Crestview and can say ditto to your description of the beach. I was down in Destin last night with family. :)

I know several Smith families. I'm 44 now so instead of running the beaches I'm more apt to describe myself as a beached whale!!!! Lol. But I enjoy frolicking with my 10 year old son, he keeps me young! ;)

Turned out it wasn't so exciting. Who would have thought that 90 degrees out and cleaning chicken butts was not fun. One of my hens has a gaping wound on her side. So vertricyn has been applied and she is in solitary confinement.
