Sally, only one serama hatched but it's sooo cute. It's a light off white color fluff now, what color will it grow up to be? The skin at the tips of it's wings is black all other is pink.

Oh no! only one! what about the others you had in?

LOL I seen, its funny we went to red robin for lunch and I picked up my cell to check messages and clicked the byc page by accident and I saw the coop and I started messing with the page because I though it was stuck on my article coop page! DH laughed at me when I finally figured out! DOH no I am not a really ditzy, just have my moments and the older I get the more I have them!

Ack!!! I was getting ready to do eggtosies and cracked the fat end off a serama to see it breathing!!!!! I had shut the bator down around 1 pm today so it's been cooling for 4 hours. . It seems fine but still has a few blood vessels so I popped it in my other running bator with a warm paper towel around it. It's chirping and if it survives needs a special name. I'll check it later tonight.

I've been struggling with my hatches. I seem to have 1/3 shipped eggs not develop at all. Then another 1/3 that developable quit before day 18. Then 1/3 go into lockdown but only a few hatch. Temp and humidity seem good. Out of 40 eggs, I had 6 hatch. Maybe shipping in summer is rough w me being in FL.

Ok I'd like to introduce you to the first servicing chicks of the hatch still lots left pipping one doesn't look good it's legs rant working right ill be watching closely and update as needed.

sounds a lot like me. thats why i hatch a few hundred at a time lol
