THE JOYS OF egg hunting. 100 eggs less to hatch but I really wanted those breeds. I guess there will be next time. the way its going, that will be a 400 chicken egg run!

Lol and I just spent half an hour putting a new baby in its crib (cardboard box) cues its not quit up to playing with its brothers yet lol oh ya and one of them recognizes I'm it's mama lol

my chicks follow me around cheeping if i get too far they distress call, i cheep to them and they come running.. i pick at the grass and teach them how to forage and if i hold something out they eat it no question then go looking for their own... all i need now is poofy pants and an apron and ill be mother goose(hen) lol

My heart would drop! We've had a ton of storms here lately and I'm on pins and needles hoping ours wouldn't give! Haha.

My two to hatch on fri went in lockdown today and I swear I thought I saw movement in or around air cell!? IDK what I'm looking at or for but there is something...I just don't want to mess this up and this baby go :/ I can't see anything in my olive egg but darkness, no movement so this one egg has my heart for the time being. Lol. AM can't come soon enough! I hope I hear cheeping. Even if this is my 1st hatch and I know it might take a little to learn the bator and learn if my temp and humidity was right, low or high...Dang it stinks to get this far and maybe lose one to one of those problems!

Ok here's where we are out of the original 25 eggs 8 are alive out of those 8 ,3 are haveing a little trouble getting their legs I only had to help one hatch and it seams stronger then the other two the rest of the eggs where dead fully formed chicks just dead no idea temp was fine humidity was fine I consider it a success now we do it all over again on the 6th it will be lockdown for the other 30 od chicks so luck to me ill be candling in a day or so hoping to see lots of movement!
