Black Copper eggs pipping in the hatcher...Hope to have some chicks to take pictures of soon. Hatched 1 chick the other day out of 9, 3 of them died in the final stages couldn't find anything wrong, the others the air sacs where really really bad. Have family coming in this weekend (hope they don't mind the incubators in their bedroom)![]()
I may have discovered how to keep family away...![]()

awwwwwww sure do have a great color scheme there! can do a rooms decor as such!
I have two pallet coops, one dog house coop and the saloon shed grow out pens and serama pen, The saloon has four areas, two for littles and two for next size up that lead to the run. I just realized that my plain old storage shed looks like crap when a month ago it looked better than everything else! lolQuestion Sally...You have some other really totally adorable coops
Do you still have them or retrofitting to make the Saloon?
IF you are going with a theme then you now need a jail and a cat house! LOL
I was just thinking how cute your yard must look with such cute creative buildings in it

Too bad we aren't closer You could have mine. Not wood but I have a metal one buried under a ton of Climatis vinewe discussed making one but not sure its worth the time since I have a zil other projects waiting, I added a email notification to CL if any pop up, heck I would take one of those light fixtures and make it work as well! I swear they are in almost every cabin upstate! lol![]()
On an upside guess i will be hatching again come fall as she has offered to send me eggs "on the coop" . Just have to pay for shipping. I have got to say i think i have lucked out as far as finding good breeders who ship well are easy to work with and stand by their quality. So and October hatch it is i guess.... LOLThanks and that sucks!
open the air cell end and see if you can see his beak, follow the directions in the assist article.NEED professional help
The little crushed egg guy few posts back from yesterday is still breathing but to me it looks like his breaths are not as strong.
I cracked the small end of the egg shell yesterday at this time.... accident
He hasn't tried to pip Iim wondering since i loosened the shell at the small end if his beak is even up high enough TO pip. SOO.... wonder should I get it out and put a small hole in the air cell end. Thing is I have another guy with a big pip hole been working on hatching all morning but its going slowly its big but hasn't really zipped yet. these kind in my humble experience often take a day and then an assist to get out.
Dont want to shrink him but I feel time is at a minimum for this cracked guy
Any thoughts?
