NEED professional help
The little crushed egg guy few posts back from yesterday is still breathing but to me it looks like his breaths are not as strong.
I cracked the small end of the egg shell yesterday at this time.... accident
He hasn't tried to pip Iim wondering since i loosened the shell at the small end if his beak is even up high enough TO pip. SOO.... wonder should I get it out and put a small hole in the air cell end. Thing is I have another guy with a big pip hole been working on hatching all morning but its going slowly its big but hasn't really zipped yet. these kind in my humble experience often take a day and then an assist to get out.
Dont want to shrink him but I feel time is at a minimum for this cracked guy
Any thoughts?

Get the humidity around 70% and reach in and grab your cracked egg quick. He might be having a hard time hatching because he has no traction with the shell cracked like it is. Just my opinion but at this point it can't hurt him. Get the humidity high before opening.

Since he is cracked at the little end you can look to see if it's veins are full or receded. If yoi can't see anything small hole at big end to look should help.

I have two pallet coops, one dog house coop and the saloon shed grow out pens and serama pen, The saloon has four areas, two for littles and two for next size up that lead to the run. I just realized that my plain old storage shed looks like crap when a month ago it looked better than everything else! lol
Do yoi have pics somewhere? I'd love to see the doghouse coop and run.

Great saloon Sally looks wonderful!
Now a question and a pic ok how do I introduce my day old chicks to my six day old chicks and in a month how do I introduce the new chicks to all of these

Now for some fuzzy buts and lots of color
400

if it was me, I'd just put them together..mine usually separate into groups at first and then merge when they realize the others are "ok" and not gonna kill them! lol

Wonder have you sold any of your baby chooks? You've  hatched  a lot of babies. If so the island must be full of OZ- chicks and you are the GREAT CHICKEN MAN.
You seem to have introduced a lot of unknown -until- now birds there.

I started hatching 6.5 months ago. Most were mutts. I have sold 6 RIR/barred rock And Polish cross roos. My father in law commandeered 5 hens and 2 roos.

We are getting 13 eggs most days.

It will take another 6 months to sort out breeds to sell as pairs/trios,which is what I want to do.

..I tried that finally.... and worse news...the egg was stuck hard to the grid floor. So then I had to open it again to add a damp paper towel around it.And again to get it out.
Well eventually it came loose but the poor thing hadn't turned in the egg his beak was down so either he was dying anyway or I smother him with the damp paper towel around it He still had some yolk to go too..GUH I feel so bad. HE was dead.
,Hopefully I didnt jeapordize the other 2. Sprayed in water and the humidity went to 62 lowest ...not too terrible I guess. Might have to help the one guy who has a big pip he isn't progressing much and usually to me those need help eventually

That was my hardest hatch call ive had and first time i killed a baby with a stupid act.

OZPAT...Forgot it hasn't been that long for you to have mostly grown chickens.
WE get on here(BYC) and seems like years doesn't it?
