give her some of your eggs! LMAO!!I have a sweet and gentle Buff Orpington named Sally (she was Sally before I was ever on BYC!). She has been broody for about a week and a half but she's not going to hatch anything out of her eggs because they aren't fertile. How so I break her? I put her with the others at night and she sleeps w them. But next morning she can be found in the next box.
They don't travel well for incubating though, the more the merrier for the size of them.be careful on the quail. started with 9 this spring, sold a few, sold and traded some eggs, still have them coming out of my ears. hatch to lay is 6 weeks on those little buggers, ive seen insects that multiply slower.

Quote: This is really weird. you see no other breaks in the shell at the bottom for malposition? and you cant see yolk or anything that resembles a "part" of a chick
