So, maybe this isn't the right place to ask, but just need some advice...I ordered 17 chicks from someone, received them today and four were dead/decaying, and three more are not looking good...I've never done this before so I'm wondering what I should expect from the seller, if anything? It was just an individual person, not a big hatchery.

Also the four that died looked like week old chicks which I think contributed to their low survivability through the trip. Amazingly, the two Cream Legbar chicks I ordered look older than that and are doing great. They were all shipped in the same box with about 10 other day old babies.

What do you all think?

Oh I dont know what to think! I would be so upset thats for sure!!! did u order from here or ebay? did you read their feedback as a seller? I would contact them immediately

That is horrible. I would contact the seller for sure.

I second that. I would definitely give the seller the opportunity to make things right. So many different things could have happened and the seller may be unaware. Take pics!! At the very least, I would want a refund! Oh yes, and TAKE LOTS OF PICS!!

HER WATER BROKE!! ok not really but Maddy Girls temperature dropped this after, she is producing milk, panting and getting up and down and she is restless the past hour and starting to dig in the corner of my couch!!! Is it false labor? I wonder if they have this!! she lays in front of me and I can see a major ruckuss going on in there, those pups are moving and sticking stuff all out of her belly...!! How AWESOME to witness her pregnancy!! I am soooo excited but soooo scared too!!! It may be one looooong night for us here in the blue mnts!! Her due date is 9/21 !!!! pssss no update on Halo, nothing yet, its day 19 keeping a steady 99.5 and 62% humidity.... COME ON HALO and Pups!! YAYAYYYYYAAYYY ohhhhh pic was earlier this week she is fat and dont fit in her usual spot!!
