I am going to look for something that has AA batteries!!!!! Hubby will kill me if I take his stupid remote!!!!!

Everyone says that Oklahoma has some crazy names but Michigan ranks up there with us. I drive up just south of Chicago thru the nw corner of Indiana and then thru Battle Creek and continue north east to Tawas. I love me some summer Michigan...couldn't handle the winter.

Halo is still Laying there and occasionally trying to move but his eyes are not open. is that normal and his little mouth is moving like he is talking but he isn't, I see his foot now and it even has a tiny bit of blood on it and his bottom shell that he is in yet is crushed a bit now because somehow he rolled out of that egg carton I had him in, I think it would have been fine in the carton had there been more eggs but he was in the end of one I cut in half. I could have tacked it down but wasn't thinking about that! Now I prob killed him with that stupid carton. he is one ugly hatching bird, lol he better make it and fluff the heck up soon!!! This is gonna be another long night isn't it???

NOTES: CANNOT keep the humidity under 70!! even turned the dehumidifier back on!!! will he drown if he is out and get pneumonia????

had to think on this...it took mine forever it seemed to recover from the hatch. My humidity did not come back down right away either. I think as the chick dries out it will naturally go back down. Mine went up well over 70 when I had 2 hatch really close together. I had a chick that kept his shell a little longer than the others as well. He kind of pulled it around with him for a while. I'm not sure if it was attached or he was just not out all the way.

Ok, you! LOL I had to stop reading the thread and go look up those lyrics and listened to the song on youtube. Now "halo, halo, halo" is going through MY mind! LOL
