Seriously! Its back! But I have proof!!!!!! And I am not the only one it happened to lol!

My BYC comments are screwed up for some reason???? Anyone???? I am seeing it in code and I didnt click for it that way!!It is so easy to make! Did I put the frame picture on it? its pretty self explanitory, however we are getting to the 2nd one this weekend because I need these blueP cochin out of my basement! lol

Nooooooo you don't understand!!!!! Think ....very very very VERY stupid when it comes to putting things together with wood - in fact anything construction related. We really need step by step instructions ie how the hack did they turn the pallet walls into in e shiny red ones?? Oh wow, how did they get that roof on???? LOL - I mean we need "building the pallet coop 101" style instructions :)

Pic of EggTopsy of PIPPING WRONG END! The egg I thought was an early quiter on day 14 or really small had pipped sometime today on the lower side and died!!! I should have took a pic first but I thought maybe it was alive, it wasnt moving....

It was a pretty yellow peep with black markings all over his head : ( His little beak was sticking out, and gooey stuff running down almost drying the egg to the carton.....remember I had the egg in the styro egg carton with bottoms cut out??? He pipped right where it was touching leaning on the carton! Could he have made it this position at all????

ALSO..... I SHOULD have brought the bator up to check on the progress of the other internal pipped egg!! I just had too many kids today and too much chaos with the shed delivery and everyone coming home on the bus too!! Then Supper and ugggg....

Anyway....
I checked and no movement, so I tried to candle and see in the little hole I made on top, he was wrapped white and not moving, I Honestly thought he was gone! and I was kicking myself in the ars for not bringin the bator upstairs!

So I very gently started a zip line around the air cell and it basically it just ripped from being so dry, so first thing I did was get his little beak free in that inner white lining and then I wet the membrain covering the rest of him gently and in an instant it moistened and he took a deep breath and popped up with his head! Scared the living sheeeat out of me!! No really it was like Friday the 13th!!

I wet around the egg edges a few times since then, and now he is just resting like the others, I will leave him be and just moisten if I think its really sticking to him.... ANOTHER LONG night coming up!!! He started to chirp lightly so I think he isnt ready yet, since the others really got loud when they started to emerge and his membrane had a little blood veining yet, so he needs to just rest and do his thang!

He is black as you can see!!! I have a good feeling after dealing with the others last night that he will be fine in time!

His name is JACK BLACK!! I love Jack!!!

SOOOOO FAR out of the 8 BCM x Comet/RIR eggs we have...
1 unfertile
2 deaths (1 shrinked & 1 Wrong end pipped)
2 yellows fluff Butts
2 black fluff Butts
1 black WILLBE fluff Butt

soooo the ONE death is my failure : (

Below is a video of the four in the brooder so far...... too cute! love the white and yellow on the blacks and the black spots on the yellows heads LOL

I will do what I can this weekend!! I will write what size bolts and stuff!! I will take a notebook out! lol

Had the one that had pipped the wrong end pipped into the airsac at all or was it just stuck and couldn't turn to the air sac? One of mine that did not hatch looked like it could not have turned around to the air sac due to large weird air sac. Not sure any of that thought is clear...

I too would love in depth instructions on your coop design.
