Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

I am thinking about getting rid of my last two incubators ... i am thru for the season and not sure about taking them when I move bc DH has promised me a cabinet one next .... still debating though .... I need more boxes so I can spend time sorting all the stuff down stairs that I dont need from the stuff that will make the move..its till awhile til we move but it gives me something to do so i dont miss DH all the time .. ... my two chicks that hatched are both handicap and I am doing feedings by hand for now ... hoping they will make it ....and one of my nephews or niece accidentally killed bumblebee

makes me seriously consider getting out of the bird business all together some days .... been long few weeks ...

I often asked myself why I do it! When it's good it's great... When it's bad it sucks. Maybe us chicken people are all a little crazy.

Noooooooooooooooooooo don't leave the bird business!!!! Please!!! Even though it can be sad doesn't mean it's not awesome in the long run! And even if you can't bring you other incubators in the move with you, there's still the one you sent me, remember? You can use that one anytime you want to and I'm sure those chicks will make it

aww ty sparky .. even if i get rid of the bators im keeping most of my birds for now and i will be getting new bators so dont see the sense in taking those with me .... i am thinking of getting rid of my older girls just bc im concentrating on my silkie lines and daffy and tiny keep me busy beyond that ... and supplies is the awesomest baby duck .. i was so down this morning but decided to bathe him and he cheered me right up loving the bathtub more than i even thought he would ..I am still worried about the chicks but i am feeding them and giving them water and keeping them warm .. one has a severely damaged foot and leg that will probably never be completely right but I am doing the best I can with them ...if they make it they will always be house babies like tiny ...and prob daffy ...

No no exct date set general idea is after the kids get out of school but dont know if i can hold out that long here with DH gone so much

Mine is my bestie too and this week has been rough but if it means a better life and our own house then eventually it should be worth it ...

Day 7 and Harmony has veining in 6 of her serama eggs!! YAY how awesome is that to see those details in such a tiny white egg!!! AWESOMENESS!!

I have brahma out the butt!!! omg PLUS I just had a surpise delivery of almost a doz eggs from a friend... gold laced cochin and light brahma SWEET but omg I dont want more, the marans are coming the marans are coming
