I've been worried about whether I should even try to keep him. I didn't know whether the tendency was genetic or not but this is the 3rd chicken that I've had it happen to in the last few years. I put down the other two. One was a 2 week old chick and it was heartbreaking to watch it suffer. I'm so glad to see yours improving. I do need to get some of the vitamin E capsules next time in town.
