Diary of an x fat cow part 2 - Diary of a chubby chicken!!!!!

Yes your right of course.
I sooo need that but it is getting difficult as DH loves to bake bread and cake this time of year and I am trying hard to avoid that. It is very hard because so many things are so nice. But I know what your saying is right and I don;t want to "put on this weight again!" My DD told my sister - in - law not to worry about me "faiding away" because I would just put the weight all back on again anyhow! - So I am not going to do that I can't do that. This morning I started well I thought in that I didn;t reach for a coffee I drank T instead and hardly noticed the difference. I am also having yogurt for breakfast with dates. I will try to "snack" on a banana instead of cake later and T will have to be something none fatty. I am not even going to post the weight today it is not worth upsetting myself over. Maybe in a day or two I will fill the missing one in but not today. I am ashamed of myself - I need to be careful this chubby chicken becomes a thin chick and doesn't regress into a FAT COW lol - I think starting this diary now is what will be the turning point - it is going to be put the weight right back on or get a grip and do something about it. Posting this I am hoping that I will step up to the plate - (Um I mean a low cal low carb high fibre filled one of course

I was reading back over this and nothing I planned to do happend. No yogurt, No banana snack and I did post the weight! - I have however tried very hard to ditch so much of the coffee.

How I feel
Glad to have gotten the coffee intake down a bit - carb intake is still to much too high and I am eating far to many wrong choices. There are things here that have to be eaten so I am going to have to eat some bad things anyhow just till they are not about and then choose not to buy more I guess!
I am really upset about the weight gain? I am not sure how that happened except that I was eating too many carbs recently. I was really down then thought - kick up the rear and get going again. At least weighing myself means I cannot get into too much weight gain bother because I can pull it back.

Bit low though as now I feel I gained a lb in my first week not lost - even one?

(There is so much of it I have actually frozen the second half of it!!!
Still it was lovely and did a few meals)

( DH made me it so I drank!)
1 slice of date and Banana bread.
( OK I felt I had to fit the banana in somewhere and Dh used them all up in his baking!)

How I feel
I am feeling a bit more possitive in that I feel I am slowely getting back some control over my diet. It is hard work keeping the carbs down. I love carbs! I have discovered I am a carb and coffee adict!

7th November




Weight 10 stone 1 lb This means after this whole week I have lost 1 lb? 10 days ago I was 9 stone 12 lbs. So I yo yo like a mad thing! I hope I can move foward and keep it off.

Oesdog, do you have a smartphone? On my Iphone I have the Livestrong app and it lets me keep track of my calories, excersize without having to think. I just put in my age, weight, etc and my weight loss goals, and then it gave me a calorie goal. Then I put in what I eat, you can search for anything on the planet and it gives you calorie and serving sizes to choose - even restauraunt meals... It's really great, maybe you can find an app like that for your phone!

Ha ha - I am seriously an old person my phone is a brick and the buttons are extra large. It is however modern as it has apparently got a camera - but I never use that button!!!!

Oes - I have a really good book though with writting in it and pages and it tells me much about calories! I can also throw it when I get mad and it doesn;t break!

Main - Beef stir fry and rice.
NO Dessert! 2 glasses of white wine!

I think I did pretty good for going out for a meal and I know I didn't over do it. Though I did enjoy the wine. I know I could have dived into a very fattening dessert but I was good!

I am really struggling with the carbs again. I am so despirately trying to avoid them but somehow despite my good intentions they find their way into my mouth and onto my hips!
