DE is pretty much impossible to find but he went to a health food store yesterday and was looking for pumpkin seeds to use as a wormer for my hens when the lady said she had some. Of course she knew he was a sucker and sold him a small container the size of a quart ice cream container for $11. Well at least I now have some.
But now I don't know how much to use in the food. I know that's a place I can put it to help with worms. Can anyone give me an idea on how much to add to a gallon size pitcher full of food?

One ounce per pound of feed is just a bit lower than recommended, based on 5# per 100# of feed. I sell PermaGuard Codex FoodGrade if you are interested. I believe it is cheaper than what you paid.

Oh I'm sure yours is cheaper. My husband didn't know any better, this whole chicken thing is my adventure. I think that container I got was about one pound. Ouch...

I'm good for now, but what are your prices and S&H for a Western NY person?? It's hard to find here. MY zip is 14568 if that matters.
