I know theres alot of talk about DE but i would like your opions on this question. would DE be a good feed suppliment to introduce to my flock. Ive herd it is good for all around health in poultry, and is good for killing internal and external parasites. Would this be a good preventive medicine or a waste of money.

IMO a waste of money -- but there are certainly differing opinions here. I've read many claims that it kills internal parasites but never found and documentation of this. It is helpful for controlling odor and maybe lice/mites, but there are lots cheaper products for odor, and it won't deal with an infestation fo lice/mites anyway -- and again there are cheaper ways to prevent one.

Just my opinion. There are some threads on DE on the FAQ page if you haven't seen them.

I don't need strangers, who may be ethical scientists, who may not have an agenda to document anything, to tell me what works. We have used it for worms and fleas in our rescue cats and dogs for years. IT WORKS. As for cost..I spend maybe $20 a year on DE. Show me other over the counter non medicated things this cheap that has so many uses.

We coat our cat food in eat, we sprinkle in in the cracks around our home, we dust bath feral kittens in it to kill fleas, we sprinkle it in our cat boxes for odor and wetness.

Do a search, you will find lots of people who have used it themselves who will testify to the same.

X's 2 on the using it on dogs for fleas- awesome! also use it in my coop and run - flower and veggie garden where it does excellent work of taking care of pests.

Thank you! All I find here is pool grade, and didn't have a brand name to search for.
