did anyone else put eggs in there incubator today

I had one hatch about an hour ago! He is noisy and was crawling all over the other eggs, so he is already in the brooder

Second pip is zipping now

no other pips so far

Still nothing here. Waiting....very impatiently!

I can't stop checking on them. I have to keep telling myself that I didn't set them until Saturday afternoon and that most of them were moving around like crazy last night.
Something is bound to happen, Right???????

All 7 have pipped. None of them have started to zip. The one that pipped sometime last night had made a small hole and keeps poking out his beak. I cant believe none of them have started to zip. Maybe If I just go to bed Ill wake up to chicks. Or maybe not. I wonder if the humidity is to high? good luck to everyone else.

As it stands before I force myself to sleep for the night:

4 buff orp: 2 chicks, 2 pips (chick A is a real jerk to chick B, pecking at the face etc..)
3 RIRxEE: no pips
7 bantam salmon faverolles: no pips

*sigh*

I hope I wake up to a bunch of pips & zips!

We have been hearing little cheepie noises from inside the eggs since a few hours ago. One has pipped! It's very exciting

Long night, I woke up and one was hatching, 2 more came right away, as if they were motivated. 3 chicks! The other 4 havent started to zip. I think its going to be a good day!

14 eggs: no pips
Trips to incubator: 1,000,001

My humidity is finally hovering right at 60% ? Can I stop obsessing about this now?????


If I don't have my own chicks to play with this morning, the least you could do is post some pictures of yours. hint, hint, hint...
