No. Nothing yet. Seriously, this is KILLING me. I do not do well with anything patience related.
I'm trying to keep in mind that I set them Saturday *evening*. Plus I've been running right about 100* in a still air, which I found out later was a little low.
They were alive on Thursday......Nothing much has changed in their environment and I couldn't have possibly killed them in two days since lockdown.
I am getting anxious though. I won't lie......
Jimma, I was reading earlier posts in this thread today and I just laughed that all of yours that went into lockdown hatched. You sounded so sceptical early on.
I hope all yours hatch, just give it time.
well I wasnt sure. my kids were really into it, I didnt want to let them down. I had the eggs in a homemade cooler incubator for the first 10 days, and the temps cycled between 99-101 every 5 minutes or so. It was a mess. I wanted to be sure, so I went and bought an lg, which was a dream compared to the "cooler". It held very steady temps. Its funny, these were shipped eggs, because I couldnt find local eggs. On about day 9, someone local called me back, and I couldnt say no. I put those in also, just to be sure I wouldnt come up empty. now on day 12 I have 5 serama eggs, and 6 penciled wyandottes developing nicely, and dont really have the space for them. Its funny how it all works out. let me know when you get a pip.
