Some ducks are just more affectionate than others

Our ducks don't let my grandson really pet them either. He's five and is the one that runs and jumps and is loud. My granddaughter is ten and they are her ducks, she can pick them up and pet them. Well one of the mallards doesn't really like to be held so it's a lot more trouble to catch it. My adult duck comes when you call her, well most of the time any way. She doesn't come when my grandson calls though she just looks at him like, yeah right.
