Did I choose a pullet?

Bought a silkie yesterday. She is around 6-7 weeks old.
I tried to make sure that she wasn't a rooster.
No saddles, wattles or comb growth!
Do you think I chose right?

I'm going to get her a friend today since she seems a bit lonely.

It looks at least 10 weeks.

I’d say that bird is closer to 16 weeks then 6 or 7. She does look like a pullet. With Silkies you won’t know for sure until the lay or crow

Can you get a close-up photo of the comb with the crest pushed back? I see what appears to be a few red feathers coming in over the wings and in this partridge colored bird this is usually a sign of a cockerel. Do you know how old this one is?

I don't think this silkie is a "proper" colour so it's naturally ginger. It's the same age as raven (black chick).
She is quite timid but I'll try get a pic
