Did I get a rooster instead of a pullet I ordered? How to tell early...

But why is his/her comb so big?
Some girls just have larger combs than others, even within one breed. In my first group of chickens a few years back I actually took a pullet to the poultry swap thinking she was a rooster because her comb and wattles were so big. Thankfully a kind man informed me that my "rooster" was about to lay eggs so I took her back home :lau

All the birds pictured are without a doubt females. Cream Legbars are an auto-sexing breed, so males and females look different at hatch. Even as they grow, males are quite a bit lighter than females. All the birds in your pictures exhibit female coloring. You've got a pullet ready to roll eggs out any day. They're very pretty!

I was just judging off of the crown there wasn’t any good pictures of saddle feathers
When I clicked on each picture to see it bigger, some of them also showed more of the chicken. That let me see her back, with no male saddle feathers.

I agree the comb is big and red, but that is normal for Cream Legbar females when they are old enough to lay eggs.
