Did I get some Cornish X in my assortment?

Those birds are definatly cornish x's. If you do not want to slaughter them, you don't have to. They won't live very long though. I had a Tyson rescue and just had a cornish X. They don't live over 6 months, but you can give them a good life during that time if you wish. My last cornish X died Dec. 26th. She weighed 15 pounds.

This picture was taken a few days before she died. (That's a partridge rock underneath for comparison)

Her name was Big Momma.

Just an update. The birds are now 9.5 weeks old. They are slightly bigger than the others, but not by much - there's a RIR (or something that looks RIR-ish) that is bigger than a couple of the big white ones. They roost like the others too.

Due to a bunch of roosters ganging up on a single one, I culled the beat-up guy this afternoon. Cleaned and dressed, he weighed 3 lb, 12 oz. He was the biggest of the flock, too.

I'm thinking not Cornish Cross. Maybe White Rock. But thought you might appreciate an update.

Thanks for the update. Good thing you didn't have the crosses else you'd have to had eaten them!
