Mine (guy) is no exception!!!!Guys with mowers (and weed whackers) are probably a bigger threat to plantings than chickens! I lost a whole whiskey barrel of flowers to an over-enthusiastic helper who poured fertilizer in it! Straight, without mixing. Planter was dead and black in 24 hours! Have fun with your garden, chickens make great fertilizer. Next year that cedar will be perfect to dress your lawn or roses.
Definitely cheap and extremely hardy in cold climates..Awesome, will look for some.
Does home Depot sell them?Definitely cheap and extremely hardy in cold climates..
I'm not sure really...Lots of garden places do though..Does home Depot sell them?
Not complaining about the garden help, they just need supervision! And, a clear mower path helps, I agree. We have a nice metal bender strip to mow along, which keeps mowing out of flower beds. Too much fertilizer, I have not figured a way to stop that. Hoping nice well composted chicken bedding will help, though. Sounds like you will have a great garden around your hens.Mine (guy) is no exception!!!!
Yup I had to give him a riding mower width around my run lol. Thank goodness we don't use fertilizers. Not complaining about the garden help, they just need supervision! In the desert sand where we lived at that time, no fertilizer = no plants.Yup I had to give him a riding mower width around my run lol. Thank goodness we don't use fertilizers.
Sometimes I think they do it on purpose. I had my blackberry bushes "accidentally" mowed down so often I finally installed metal fence posts around each bush. It stopped that atrocity, but then the blueberry bushes started showing grave injuries.Mine (guy) is no exception!!!!
