49.75 and more for straight runs? How much were they last year?

cackle hatchery seems more reasonable.

Yeh, i have to order from them this year again, the meat birds are winning at the fair, i sure dont want to, i switched to a local hatchery. $1.30 for sexed pullets, and they have champion birds.

I know. We weren't very pleased with their hatches in the past, either. We're planning to order a small brood of eight from My Pet Chicken in February. I her better things about them.

Word has it McMurry isn't doing very good business these days...

49.75 for straight runs of what? I've got last years catalog right here to let you know. I may go local mainly because I don't want 20+ birds shipped.

I think they may be relying on their size and their customer service, they may think that justifies those higher prices. I am going with somebody else also this yr.

They are overblown and they are going to go down like banks, real estate market and so on.

LOL

49.75 for buff orphs and buff rocks and white orphs

barred and white rocks, rhode island reds 46.25

cackle hatchery I think they are all in the 30 something.

Then I see McMurray wants $12.00 for started pullets. Shoot if a chicken is worth $12.00 any body have a nice rooster I can borrow for my egg laying hen................I'll crank up the incubator and I'll be rich !!!! Dang if a chicken is worth 12.00 dollars that means I lost over $600 dollars to predation over the past 2 years. Wonder of obama will let me deduct that from my taxes.

I get $15.00 easily for started pullets, and their most of the time their mutts.
