Larger and reder comb/waddles but still no interest in nesting box or squatting

The comb certainly is quite red. Not all birds will squat or necessarily muss up nest boxes before laying - through it's a good indicator if they do those things, the absence doesn't mean a bird isn't close to laying.

Today I heard her do the “egg song” again only once though. It went something like “bawk bawk BAWWKK” But that’s about it no other signs, maybe she only did it because she was scared

Yeah, she could have been scared. My laying hens do that a lot now and one did the song multiple times today after she layed an egg. I was like "we know you layed one, you don't need to keep bragging" LOL
I hope yours lays soon, the first egg is the best!

I have one that yells about every 30 minutes all day long like she laid an egg...she's close to POL, but hasn't laid yet. She struts around yelling and claiming the "barely warmed up" fake egg as her accomplishment.

Yes I’m very excited! I’m just hoping she lays it in her coop because we free range her.
