Treated land scaping timbers are excellent for making strong-cheap coops. We have made several from them.....The hard part is finding the strait ones LOL..

No but I got "lucky". Two weeks after I bought my place a very stong thunderstorm moved through and blew a tree over onto a shed I was going to convert into a chicken coop. Therefore, I got a insurance check for about 1400 dollars and had Tuff Shep custom build me a 10 x 12 coop. I had to add about $150 to the insurance proceeds.

Nope - we had a guy build it for us. We just aren't builders. But he did a great job.

To get anything out of this poll it would need to be somewhere else on the site. This poll here ( Coop & Run Design and Construction ) is like taking a pole outside a football field asking who likes football. ( Random Ramblings )would have been more accurate.
