Can you believe it? Our bud Poopybutt finally crowed today and mom made her first ever blog. Yes, I know. The girls over at the grainery told me. They heard it from a few over by the mill. I loved your story about Cinderelle. It was beautiful. I had a pet like that.. many years ago. There will never be another one quite like him. When you got to the part about burying her.. I nearly started to cry.

Thank you for the kind message Queen....I was crying while I was typing it. I never thought in a million years that I would still react like that after 27 years. Just goes to show that sometimes the biggest gifts are in the littlest wrappings. I know this does not sound like the adult view, but I still haven't quite forgiven that neighbor girl for letting her dog out.

She was mean and did things like that just to be spiteful. Yes, I guess that is one wound that will never completely heal in me. Funny I always tell people in my line of work (nurse) that you'll never get over it, you just learn to live with it. Guess I should heed my own advice.

On a brighter note, my lil Poopybutt is becoming such the lil man. Talk about pulling on some heartstrings. He just does that cooing at you and suddenly you feel your heart just start to melt.
